Hi! My name is Mark Etter and I am the pastor at Bethany Lutheran Church. My wife, Joan, teaches the blind in Northern Kentucky and we have three grown children - Roger, Karen, and Julia. I have been a pastor for over thirty years and I enjoy making a difference in the lives of people. My passion is to open up Scripture so that God can share His love and wisdom with people. To help with this, I have started writing a series of books available that will be available on Amazon. The first of these, “32 Days with Abraham” is already available and another “32 Days with Christ’s Passion” should be available before the fall. Beyond my church work, I am an avid camper, and photographer, and I work out at a local gym.
Bethany Lutheran is a wonderful place. We would love for you to be served by our church. Our growing congregation has a small church feel where you can sit down in the midst of friends. We want to help people grow in their abilities and knowledge so that they have the tools to deal with the good and bad of life that comes to all of us. We hope every person finds a place they are passionate about where they can help others and feel good about their lives. Bethany will continue to be a place that people are proud of and that continues to have a positive impact on individuals and families. More than anything, we want people to learn about Jesus and see all the great blessings He can bring to our lives every day.
If you are feeling all alone or are looking for a church family where you can find new friends, come and join us. Bethany is the place where people have felt loved by the Lord and made friends friends. God loves you. He loves you more than you can ever imagine. All of us at Bethany want you to see how much the Lord wants to help in your life and how much He wants to give you real joy and fulfillment. With the Lord, you and I can have purpose in our lives. We can look back at all the ways the Lord has blessed and guided us and feel good about the lives that we are leading in Him.
Come and visit with us soon. You are always welcome!
